Clean 🚿

Okay well this first step goes without saying really. It doesn’t matter if you’re a shower or a bath person, you need to make sure your skin is squeaky clean. All traces of dirt, sweat and perfumes need to be removed in order for the rest of your products to absorb as they should. We recommend using a gentle body wash that won’t irritate or dry out your skin and make sure you rinse it all off before moving on to the next step.

Exfoliate 💫

It is imperative that you add a body exfoliator into your skincare routine at least once a week. This is to make sure you effectively remove any rough or dead skin, free any ingrown hairs and to help keep your skin super soft. You may prefer to use a physical scrub which normally contains sugar or salt to achieve its grainy texture or you can use a tool, such as exfoliating gloves or a body brush depending on personal preference.

Shave 💇

Whilst you add up the pro’s & con’s of Laser (p.s there aren’t any con’s), we recommend that you take a little longer in the bath or shower before shaving as the water will help soften your skin. Apply shaving cream to avoid any unnecessary friction, take it slow and make sure you’re not going against the grain.

Moisturise 💧

The key to a good skincare routine, albeit body or face, is hydration. The best time to slather on your favourite moisturiser is when your skin is still wet so make sure you don’t delay. Apply a body cream or lotion all over your body, from your neck down to your toes and let it absorb fully before getting dressed. This way you’ll avoid that unpleasant sticky feeling and instead feel heavenly and ready for a good nights sleep.

tan ☀️

There’s absolutely no doubt that false tan is the safest way to bronze and you’ll either love it or hate it. From ultra dark mousses to light and gradual everyday creams, there really is something out there for everyone. Having a tan will not only make you look better by giving you a healthy and radiant glow, it’ll also make you feel better by making you feel more confident. It really is a win, win.
