At Skin HQ we use the award-winning Cynosure Apogee Elite laser. The Cynosure laser uses a dual-wavelength system which consists of a 755nm Alexandrite laser and a high powered 1064 nm Nd: YAG laser.

The Cynosure Apogee Elite allows us to target a variety of different hair colours and skin types, delivering reliable and effective hair removal reduction.

The amount of sessions an individual will need varies on their skin type and hair density. On average, 6 sessions will provide a 50% hair reduction and 12 sessions may give a 85% hair reduction. Results vary from individual to individual and it is vital to adhere to the correct aftercare for the treatment.

We recommend coming in for your laser hair removal treatment every 4-6 weeks.

We cannot guarantee that a client will be completely hair free, although most people do see amazing results. We change the setting on the laser on each session, to ensure clients see the best possible result.

Laser hair removal can provide a major reduction in hair growth, although you will need to maintain your lasered areas with top-up sessions every 6-12 months.

Most people are surprised by how pain-free laser hair removal is. It is much more comfortable than waxing, although it is largely dependant on your pain threshold.
