Know The Facts
What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is the deepest form of manual exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dead skin, resulting in a brighter, smoother complexion. It is beneficial to get this prior to other facial treatments or products as it allows for greater penetration and it
creates a flawless canvas for makeup application. Perfect for your next night out.
What are the benefits of Dermaplaning?
Immediately after treatment, your skin will look wonderfully radiant with a more even skin tone. An extra benefit is that dermaplaning removes ’peach fuzz’, which is the clear/white soft, fine facial hair. Your skin will feel the smoothest it’s ever been!
Who is Dermaplaning for?
We recommend this for anyone, as the results really are amazing. We would advise that people with active acne avoid this treatment and wait until breakouts are clear. Please discuss any allergies or skin sensitivities with the therapist.
Are there any side effects of Dermaplaning?
There are no side effects or downtime with dermaplaning. The skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure so it is important to wear a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.

BUY A COURSE
95% of customers prefer to buy a course than individual sessions. This is because a course guarantees better results.
What should I expect during my treatment?
We will start your treatment with cleansing your skin and then proceed with the scalpel to start the manual exfoliation. After this, we will finish off your treatment using skincare that is best suited to your skin type.
How should I care for my skin after Dermplaning?
Your skin may feel sensitive after treatment, which is completely normal. You should avoid using sun-beds and make-up for 12 hours afterwards. We advise to use a mild cleanser for 2-3 days after your treatment, to ensure you are not irritating your skin. You may also use a hydrating cream at night, as your skin will be more absorbent to anything you place on your skin. We always recommend to wear an SPF after any facial treatment, also.
Will the hair on my face grow back thicker and darker?
No, it will not. In the Dermaplaning treatment, we only remove the top layer or skin as hair know as ‘peach fuzz’.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a course of 6 treatments and to have each treatment every 4-6 weeks.
